Workshop Introduction
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the traditional method of making handcrafted stick incense using the classical Wu Yanzhuang “Mùxī Xiāng” (Osmanthus Incense) formula.
Guided step by step, you will experience the complete process of traditional incense making, including:
- Kneading the incense dough
- Extruding the incense sticks
- Shaping and aligning the incense (Li Xiang)
This slow, tactile process invites mindfulness and a deeper connection with scent, material, and traditional craft. No prior experience is required.
At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home approximately 3g of handmade stick incense to air-dry naturally at home.
