Step into the spotlight at Cosmos Con’s Cosplay Competition—the ultimate showcase of creativity, craftsmanship, and performance! Whether you’re a seasoned cosplayer or a first-time contender, this is your chance to shine in front of an enthusiastic audience and a panel of expert judges.
Here are the requirements:
– you have a full cosplay (made, bought, or altered, must include a wig and costume)
– reference pictures
– have a small (or big) show to put on
-you haven’t won any awards with this costume before.
Instead of being judged purely on costuming skill and technique like a traditional competition, we will spice things up by running a diverse competition that judges on a variety of aspects of cosplay.
Competition Categories:
When you enter into the competition, you are automatically entered into ALL eligible categories:
– COSTUMING category (if you’ve made your costume) judged on how well it’s made
– WIG (If you styled your own wig) judged on styling, choice of wig, how it’s made and worn
– PROPS (if you’ve made your props) judged on what techniques are used, and how well it’s made
– SHOW or SKIT (if you included a performance in your entry) judged on stage presence, scripts, skills used
– MAKEUP (if makeup is used) judged on techniques and how well it’s done
– Overall ‘Fineness’ (this is a bonus score based on how ‘cohesive’ your cosplay looks and feels)
