Cosmos Con Art Challenge: Design a Uniform for Stella!

Calling all artists, designers, and creatives! Stella, our beloved Cosmos Con mascot, needs a new look for her first day at the prestigious “Cosmos College.” We’re challenging you to design the ultimate school uniform for her!

This is your chance to have your artwork featured by Cosmos Con and win some sweet prizes!

The Challenge: Design a Japanese-style school uniform for Stella – the cat demon!

How to Enter

  1. Create Your Design: Draw, paint, craft, or digitally create your school uniform for Stella.
  2. Post on Social Media: Upload your finished artwork to your public Instagram / Facebook / Tik tok account.
  3. Tag Us: Please tag one of our official accounts so we see it!

  4. Entry Period: The contest begins on November 30th 2025 and ends on February 1st 2026 at 11:59 PM NZT. Any entries posted outside this period may not be considered.

Comp Rules:

  • Your design must be original and created by you.
  • No AI-generated artwork is permitted.
  • Artwork must be appropriate for all ages. No violent, explicit, or offensive content.
  • Do not use copyrighted characters or logos from other franchises in your design.

Judging & Prizes

  • Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged by the Cosmos Con team and Valley – our original designer for Stella, the Cosmos Con mascot!
  • Stella’s Core Design: Try to keep her recognisable
  • Format: You may submit a full-body or half-body illustration. Both traditional and digital mediums are welcome.
  • Judgement criteria:
    • Creativity & Originality: How unique and imaginative is the uniform design?
    • Artistic Skill & Execution: Quality of the artwork and technique.
    • Alignment with Stella’s Character: Does the design suit her back story?
  • The Prizes:
    • Grand Prize (1 Winner):
      • Entry and collector’s ticket to Cosmos Con 2026
      • Special leather school bag sponsored by Creations by Sew Jess
      • Special set of leather markers to spice up your bag sponsored by Cosmos Con
      • A feature on all Cosmos Con social media channels and our website
      • Special print on Con day for display (that you can take home at 5pm)

General Conditions

  • Cosmos Con reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest at any time.
  • Any attempt to manipulate the contest through multiple accounts or automated methods will result in disqualification.
  • You retain the copyright to your artwork.
  • By entering the contest, you grant Cosmos Con permission to display and promote your submitted artwork in connection with this contest across our media platforms (social media, website, con space gallery).
